Student Government Association’s first Free Movie Night of the semester is Jan. 28.
Despite the recent raise in group movie tickets, the Student Activities Council has decided to continue using Harkins Theatre, 150 E. Reno Ave, as the venue.
The theater always shows 16 different movies, so students have a good variety of options to pick from. The Revenant seems to be the most popular movie pick for students, but the only showings that fall into the Free Movie Night time are at 10:40 in the Cine Capri or right at 11. The Cine Capri is Harkins’s largest screen and cost $1 extra.
Other popular choices include Ride Along 2, Dirty Grandpa and 50 Shades of Black.
After the movie, students can explore Oklahoma City’s Bricktown, which is full of places to eat, walk or relax.
