Fritz Kiersch, director of the original 1984 version of “Children of the Corn” will screen the 2001 version twice tomorrow night in the United Methodist Hall dorm theater room.

Between the two screenings, Kiersch, the chairman of OCU’s Moving Image Arts Program, will discuss the making of the movie. “Children of the Corn” is based on a short story written by Stephen King and has been made into numerous sequels since the original, which starred Linda Hamilton and Peter Horton.

The screening begin at 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Traditional movie snacks will be served including theater-style popcorn, candy, frozen desserts and cold beverages.
