The volleyball team wrapped up their regular season and is preparing for the Sooner Athletic Conference tournament set to begin Friday.
Women’s volleyball prepares for conference tournament
The women’s volleyball team is in mid-season, having played 17 games thus far, developing an overall record of 15-8-0 and their Sooner Athletic Conference record of 6-3. They are in third place in the SAC.
Officials promote sober fun through weekend events
This Friday and Saturday, OCU counseling services, housing and the alcohol committee are hosting a sober weekend.
The idea of a sober weekend is to provide students with alternatives to drinking on the weekend. Both Friday and Saturday will consist of fun events and guest speakers who will share about their personal experiences and provide workshops.
Lambda Chi Alpha hosts philanthropy week activities
Lambda Chi Alpha is hosting their philanthropy week for Feeding America this week.
The week’s events include a karaoke night, a chili cook-off, a volleyball tournament, and a celebratory toga foam party.
