An alumna and former university employee charged with stealing more than $104,000 from the university pleaded guilty this week to the charge.
Homecoming ‘starts’ with events hosted across campus
OCU is hosting Homecoming, a competition with events including banner, window, and lip sync this week.

Organizations write and choreograph a short performance to a pre-recorded track. Performers are not allowed to make any noise of their own.
Phi Mu to become more involved around campus
Phi Mu completed their formal pledging ceremony Sept. 22.
It was the first ritual for the newest Greek colony on campus.
The ritual signified the members’ lifelong support to the sorority.
OCU’s Phi Mu colony has 40 pledges. They will become a chapter Nov. 9 during the pledges’ initiation ceremony.
Sorority adviser suspected of stealing
A former Alpha Phi adviser was relieved from her duties after officials discovered money missing from the sorority’s account.
Lisa Riggs, a former university employee and an alumna, also was charged in federal court last week with wire fraud for unauthorized purchases on university credit cards.
