Officials lock dorm doors on campus, encourage vigilance
Methodist Hall’s back doors have been locked for extra security on campus.The doors were locked and the handles removed due to security concerns with people going in through the back doors this summer, said Bradd Brown, chief of university police.
Police Department releases security report
Burglaries are the most highly reported campus crime, according to a security and fire report released earlier this month. The report, released Oct. 1, is required by federal law. It lists policies and crime statistics from 2011-13 for the university and surrounding areas.
