Officials revisit school’s tobacco policy
University officials are reviewing the school’s tobacco policy, of which electronic cigarettes are not part. The devices heat nicotine and other chemicals to produce vapor, but do not contain tobacco. Among other schools that have considered updating their policies is Oklahoma State University, where officials delayed a vote Oct. 25 to ban e-cigarettes.
