Softball team hosts Anatomy Lab fundraiser
The softball team is hosting an event in order to raise money for OCU’s prospective anatomy lab.The team announced its “A Night Under the Lights” event, which will allow members of the OCU community to bat against the softball players. Alternative gift market begins
Students of the Wimberly School of Religion have organized a way to give a gift that gives back with the alternative gift market this holiday season. Students can make a donation to Methodist charities, including Project Transformation, which provides kids with homework help and literacy instruction and the opportunity to support various charities around the world.
OCU professor completes 24 hour race
Dr. Erik Heine, professor of music theory, completed a 24 hour run this October. The 24 the Hard Way race raised money for the Special Friends Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing information and resources for families with children suffering from Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome.
OCU Law School to move downtown
The law school is on schedule to move to their downtown location, 800 N. Harvey, in December of 2014.The move was approved in October 2012, and the school is on schedule with their original plan of moving to their new location in 2014.

The volleyball team will dedicate their pink-out game in support of breast cancer awareness to a player’s family member.The pink-out game is at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, and will be dedicated to senior Kelley Shiel’s grandmother, Sandra Allen, who died of breast cancer at age 71.
