Alternative gift market begins
Students of the Wimberly School of Religion have organized a way to give a gift that gives back with the alternative gift market this holiday season. Students can make a donation to Methodist charities, including Project Transformation, which provides kids with homework help and literacy instruction and the opportunity to support various charities around the world.
Athletic department hosts annual canned food drive
The athletic department’s annual canned food drive is returning this year, with a focus on wider campus outreach.
The drive benefits Skyline Urban Ministry, a United Methodist charity. Donations will be accepted until Dec. 8.
Faculty, staff, students support United Way
A committee of OCU faculty and staff members organized a number of fundraising efforts to benefit United Way of Central Oklahoma, all designed to get students involved.
The events will commence on Monday, October 21st, with bake sales outside of the cafeteria, and will continue throughout homecoming week.
