School of Music expects to reduce COVID protocols in fall 2021 semester
Music and theatre administrators at OCU are expecting a fall semester decrease in COVID-19 regulation stringency. Mark Parker, dean of the School of Theatre and Wanda L. Bass School of Music, said administration cannot give a definite timeframe for when current performance policies will be lifted until the time comes, but he is optimistic about the coming fall semester.

On Friday, Feb. 26, the Wanda L. Bass School of Music debuted their delayed production of the Richard Maltby, Jr. and David Shire musical “Closer Than Ever” for a virtual audience. The show was held socially distanced in the Burg Theatre and was directed by Dr. David Herendeen.
Diversity and Inclusion VP hosts informational Zoom meetings
Dr. Talia Carroll, vice president for diversity and inclusion, is hosting a series of Zoom sessions this month to explain the role the new Diversity and Inclusion Office has on campus.
