The volleyball team will dedicate their pink-out game in support of breast cancer awareness to a player’s family member.The pink-out game is at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, and will be dedicated to senior Kelley Shiel’s grandmother, Sandra Allen, who died of breast cancer at age 71.
United Way campaigns for student involvement
The United Way, a national system of local charities, will conduct a campaign to promote student involvement this month on campus. The main event, a silent auction, will begin at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 30 in the Great Hall in Tom and Brenda McDaniel University Center.
Faculty, staff, students support United Way
A committee of OCU faculty and staff members organized a number of fundraising efforts to benefit United Way of Central Oklahoma, all designed to get students involved.
The events will commence on Monday, October 21st, with bake sales outside of the cafeteria, and will continue throughout homecoming week.
