Two new stop signs were installed on campus Sept. 6 on Kentucky Avenue.
Facilities delayed installing the stop signs due to priorities, Police Chief Lyndel Harris said.
“They go by what is more important: stop signs or fixing up dorm rooms,” he said.
The signs were installed because officials predicted an increase in pedestrian traffic from the new parking lot on Draper Drive. There have been complaints that vehicles drive too fast along this road, Harris said.
