OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma Secretary of Energy Michael Ming will speak this month at Oklahoma City University’s Meinders School of Business about the future of energy for the inaugural Karl F. and June S. Martin Family Foundation Energy Management Speaker Series.
“Oklahoma’s Energy Future: Challenges and Opportunities” will begin at 8:30 a.m. March 24 in the Kerr McGee Auditorium at the Meinders School of Business, located at N.W. 27th St. and McKinley Ave. Ming will join former Oklahoma Secretary of Energy Robert Wegener to discuss Oklahoma’s energy future from a local, national and international perspective.
Steve Agee, interim dean of the Meinders School of Business, said the conference will address the challenges and opportunitiesfacing the energy industry in Oklahoma.
“Participants will gain valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities the state’s energy industry faces in today’s economic and political climate,” Agee said. “Attendees will find this to be one of the most informative conferences they’ve attended on such an important topic to the state and people of Oklahoma.”
