OCU’s baseball games against Missouri Baptist and York were cancelled due to inclement weather.
When asked if it affected the team mentally to have the game cancelled, player Peyton Crispin said, “It did not affect me or my teammates mentally with this past weekend getting cancelled. We were excited to play especially after opening day, but we’re ready to get back on track and play.”
“Our team is very good about staying motivated and we’re ready to get back and start playing. We have a special group of guys and we’re excited to see what’s in store this season,” Crispin said.
The team will keep playing until their conference tournament on May 6, where they may qualify for nationals on May 16.
