Toyota announced Jan. 26 recalls of more than 1.5 million vehicles worldwide as a precaution to prevent fuel leakage, according to a CNN article.
One recall involves about 1.2 million units of 16 models due to pipes that could lead to fuel leakage, the article states. A separate recall involves about 245,000 vehicles sold in the United States inspect the fuel pressure sensor installation, USA Today reports.
Inspection and tentative gasket replacement will be conducted at no charge to the car owner, the article states.
The company said no accidents have been reported due to the recalls, USA Today reports.
