- Twin Peaks is still being revived, but the project is moving forward without David Lynch. The director of the classic TV series was set to work with Showtime on the new show but changed his mind for budgeting reasons. “Dear Twitter Friends, Showtime did not pull the plug on ‘Twin Peaks,’” Lynch tweeted. “After 1 year and 4 months of negotiations, I left because not enough money was offered to do the script the way I felt it needed to be done.” For more on the series, click here.
