—OKC HORRORFEST The Damaged All-Night Horror Film Marathon: begins at 8 p.m. at District House in the Plaza District. The OKC film club presents their second annual night of horror. Classic and cult horror movies will be shown on the big screen at District House, with a wide variety of movies to please every audience member. —Carrie, the Musical: Oct. 16-Nov. 1, in Freede Theatre at Civic Center Music Hall, presented by OKC Theatre Company. Watch Stephen King’s classic horror novel come to life onstage in this 1988 musical. The show’s original authors worked with director Stafford Arima to rework and reimagine this classic tale of bullying, just in time for the Halloween season. Tickets are $25. —Oklahoma City Thunder vs.Minnesota Timberwolves: 6:00 p.m. at the BOK Center in Tulsa, OK. Watch OKC face off against this Minnesota team from any of the restaurants in Bricktown or the surrounding area.
—Border || Land || Other: Oct. 7-Dec. 19 at the Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center. This collection is a series of works, which evolved from K. Yoland’s four-month artist residency at Marfa Contemporary in West Texas. While on the border between Mexico and the United States, K. used video, photography, sculpture and performance to investigate sites of division and restriction. —Orr Family Farm Festivities: Open daily through Oct. 30, 1440 S. Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK. Visit the Orr Family Farm, where fall is already in full bloom.
