Netflix will air the final season of animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, thanks to a new deal with Disney/ABC TV Group and Lucasfilm. The 13-episode season will premiere on the site on March 7th, along with all previous episodes of the show. “Star Wars is one of the most iconic franchises of all time and this series joins a long line of Disney content that Netflix members are and will continue to enjoy for years to come,” said Ted Sarandos, Netflix’s chief content officer. Hero and House of Flying Daggers director Zhang Yimou is in talks to direct the film adaptation of Robert Ludlum’s The Parcifal Mosaic. The story follows a retired CIA operative who resumes his job when he discovers that a woman he loved and thought he killed is still alive. The project would mark Yimou’s US filmmaking debut. Sony has come on board Sacha Baron Cohen’s upcoming spy comedy Grimsby. The story follows a British black ops agent who goes on the run with his long-lost soccer hooligan brother.
