One thing OCU students are unfortunately well acquainted with is burnout, which will not be helped in these final two weeks as we begin to wrap up this semester.
As outgoing seniors begin to prepare for their lives in the “real world” and returning students prepare to embark on countless summer adventures, remember to take care of yourselves during the upcoming months.
Eat, sleep and take much-needed breaks as you prepare to take your final exams, the last test before the final release to the sunny summer months.
Cross the finish line strong by keeping yourself healthy mentally, emotionally and physically.
Find a study buddy to take on the difficult task of preparing for your exams, bonus points if you have snacks to fuel these intense study sessions.
Fight off that last bit of burnout by keeping yourself in check with your non-negotiables, those things that you make sure happen no matter what, whether that be eating dinner in the caf every day, going to bed at a certain time or even just taking a few minutes to rest during the day.
As the summer months take hold of your lives, make sure that you are staying safe, staying hydrated, staying well-fed, taking a well-deserved break and making lifelong memories.
As these adventures unfold, keep your mental health in check and keep any vaguely illegal fun off of the camera and into the prying eyes of social media.
