Hey Stars! The 2023 BroadwayWorld Oklahoma Awards Winners were announced in January!
Oklahoma City University was awarded eight of these prestigious awards, which were voted upon at the end of 2023. Four of these awards were related to the standout 2023 fall mainstage musical Sweeney Todd.

- Best Costume Design Of A Play Or Musical: Allison Winsby, Sweeney Todd
- Best Dance Production: Holiday Spectacular! – Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment
- Best Ensemble: Sweeney Todd
- Best Music Direction & Orchestra Performance: Matthew Mailman, Sweeney Todd
- Best Play: A Midsummer Night’s Dream
- Best Production of an Opera: Hansel and Gretel
- Best Sound Design Of a Play or Musical: Jacob Henry, Sweeney Todd
- Favorite Local Theatre: Oklahoma City University
