On April 1, OCU Student Affairs hosted the third edition of the Miracle Marathon where they raised $18,000.22. This year was themed around dance instead of running.
OCU Miracle Marathon is a nonprofit organization which has the main goal of raising money to support children from Children’s Hospital Foundation. Luke Gilmore the executive director for the OCU Miracle Marathon said goals of the organization including inspiring people and building a future that children are better represented.
Gilmore’s struggle as a newborn inspired him to take on this cause. He was born premature, 16-weeks early. He said overcoming this challenge is guided his vision of the world. When he heard

When he heard of OCU Miracle Marathon, he felt prompted by his inner-being to take action and be involved.
