Easter Sunday is one of the largest holidays in the Christian faith and with the ongoing pandemic hitting communities around the country, many services were moved online to keep social distancing guidelines in practice. This left many churches around Oklahoma City empty on Easter—a somewhat harrowing sight as the number of COVID-19 cases in the city grows. While faith can be practiced anywhere, empty parking lots and locked doors are certainly different from what we expect on such a major holiday.
