Dear Ms. Marty Pants,
I’m back home on the West Coast and now my 8 a.m. class meets on Zoom at 6 a.m. my time! I’m not a morning person. I had enough trouble waking up for the class when we were still at school! Any advice?
Sincerely, night owl
Dear night owl,
Navigating time zone differences can be pretty pesky. My advice is to start a petition to the government to get rid of time zones! Who needs them anyways, right!?
Dear Ms. Marty Pants,
I’ve been trying to stay positive, but I’m starting to get really discouraged by the news. Normally I’d turn it off, I still want to watch it to stay updated about the pandemic. How can I stay optimistic?
Sincerely, Pollyanna
Dear Pollyanna,
Don’t worry, you’re in luck! Every news station announced today that the COVID-19 pandemic is over! Well, technically, they talked about how it was still an ongoing crisis, but they obviously meant the opposite of that since it’s April Fool’s Day! Haha, they’re so silly like that!
Dear Ms. Marty Pants,
I have a lot of extra free time now, you know, being quarantined and all. Any ideas to keep busy?
Sincerely, bored (online) student”
Dear bored (online) student,
There are plenty of fun things you can do while social distancing! Here’s just a few:
- TP the neighbor’s house.
- Move little things around the house and see how long it takes your family to notice.
- Alternate between binging Netflix until you get a headache and then napping it off.
Sincerely, Ms. Marty Pants
