OCU Out Of The Box presented a production of “John Proctor is the Villain,” written by Kimberly Belflower. The show portrays a high school class as they tackle the American classic, “The Crucible.”
The play was performed at 8 p.m. Nov. 9 and 10 in Studio F in Gold Star Memorial Building.
Kate Morton, music theatre sophomore, talks with a classmate. Camilo Gonzalez, music theater freshman, plays “Lee.” Mackenzie Shaw, acting freshman, plays “Beth.” Gillian O’Daniel, music theater senior, and Shaw participate in class discussion. Ellie Howell, psychology sophomore, reads from “The Crucible.” Howell tries to comfort Delanie Ayers, acting junior. Karam Alkhatib, acting sophomore, raises his hand in class. Christopher Patten, acting freshman, sit and stares. Sam Pottinger, music theater sophomore, has a discussion with Shaw. Morton and Howell listen to class discussion. Sophia Willis, film production freshman, stands up in class. Kate Waldron, music theater freshman, speaks with Pottinger. Howell and Ayers wear bonnets from “The Crucible.” O’Daniel plays “Nell.”
