The mainstage musical of the semester was Crazy For You, a musical comedy with music written by George and Ira Gershwin.
The musical was performed April 12-14 in Kirkpatrick Auditorium in Kirkpatrick Fine Arts Center.
Blake Sauceda, acting junior, plays “Bela Zegler.” Cole Cloutier, music theater senior, and the follies girls perform “I Can’t Be Bothered Now.” Joe Caskey, vocal performance sophomore, acts out his death. Cole Cloutier, music theater senior, and Cami Benton, music theater junior, play “Bobby Child” and “Polly Baker.” Cami Benton, music theater junior, sings “Someone To Watch Over Me.” The company performs “Slap that Bass.” The company performs “I Got Rhythm.” Jack Supan, music theater freshman, and Raymond Allred and Troy Freemen, music theater sophomores, sing a trio. Blake Sauceda, acting junior, and Cole Cloutier, music theater senior, sing “What Causes That?” Katie Allsup, music theater/vocal performance sophomore, sings “Naughty Baby,” as David Garcia, music theater/vocal performance junior, listens. Megan Carpenter, music theater senior, and Brandon Dallman, music theater sophomore, play “Patricia” and “Eugene.” Melissa Goldberg, music theater sophomore, plays “Patsy.” Cole Cloutier, music theater senior, and Cami Benton, music theater junior, finish a dance-off. Cole Cloutier, music theater senior, performs “Nice Work if You Can Get It.” Anna Lasbury, music theater senior, plays “Mrs. Lottie Child.” The company performs the finale.
