The most recent Stage II production of the semester was Poor Murderer, a play about a man debating whether or not he committed murder during a production of William Shakespeare’s Hamlet.
The production had performances Feb. 21-24 in Black Box Theater in Wanda L. Bass Music Center.

John Metcalf, acting junior, plays “Third Actor.” Chris Heron, music theater senior, plays “First Actor.” He accuses the cashier of stealing money from the theater as Erik Hamilton and John Metcalfe, acting juniors, listen. Joseph Derby, acting freshman, plays “Fourth Actor.” He acts as a newspaper boy and tells the audience about Kerzhentsev becoming an actor. Grace Helton, acting sophomore, waltzes with Jordan Kilgore, acting junior. Grace Helton, acting sophomore, plays “Fourth Actress.” Erik Hamilton, acting junior plays “Kerzhenstev.” Anna Wenger, acting junior, plays “Second Actress.” John Metcalf, acting junior, plays “Claudius” in the fictitious theater company’s production of Hamlet. Erik Hamilton, acting junior, plays “Hamlet.” Avery Carlson, acting junior, plays “Professor Drzhembitsky.” Erik Hamilton, acting junior, wears a straight jacket in the final scene of the play.
