OCU’s first female president, Martha Burger, was inaugurated last week.
The Presidential Inauguration was 4 p.m. Nov. 1 in Kirkpatrick Auditorium in Kirkpatrick Fine Arts Center.

- Jane Jayroe Gamble, alumna and trustee, welcomes the audience.
- David Holt, OKC mayor and alumnus, congratulates President Burger.
- Jason Foreman, representing the Faculty Senate, greets the new president.
- April Marciszewski, Staff Council Presdent, speaks.
- Jordan Tarter, SGA President, speaks.
- Don Bertz, president of the University of Central Oklahoma greets President Burger.
- Dr. Courtney Crouse, Dr. Jeffrey Picon, and Dr. Autumn West, voice faculty, sing “Let It Be.”
- Ronald J. Norick, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, presents the presidential medallion and mace.
