OCUStripped, a student directed theater company that produces shows that are stripped down of elaborate sets and other technical elements, has their first production of the season coming up.
Seussical, a musical based on the books of Dr. Seuss, follows the story of “Horton” the elephant, who has to save the citizens of “Whoville,” who live on a speck of dust. The show contains a cast of supporting characters from other Dr. Seuss books including The Cat in The Hat, Yertle the Turtle and Miss Gertrude McFuzz, among others.
In this production, the entire cast contributes to the ensemble as well. Seussical will have performances at 8 p.m. on Sept. 15 and 16 in Petree Recital Hall in Kirkpatrick Fine Arts Center. Photos were taken at a dress rehearsal on Sept. 12. Photo credit: Elina Moon
