OG&E is continuing to work to restore power to portions of the OCU campus. Crews will be replacing a transformer that helps power the east side of campus. OG&E does not yet have a time estimate for completion. Crews also are working to restore power to a portion of Cokesbury Apartments.

Further updates will follow as information is available.
Mackenzie Reitz, dance sophomore, lives in Building 6 in Cokesbury Court Apartments and said she didn’t have power for a while but that it didn’t bother her too much.
“For whatever reason, my bedroom has internet Overall this experience could be worse,” she said. “I don’t believe I’ve suffered from not having power in the long run.”
Reitz said she lost power around 5:30 a.m. yesterday, but it was restored by 9 a.m. this morning.
