OCU will be hosting Sibs Day for its second year on April 8th.
Sibs Day is a way for OCU students to show their siblings and parents what it’s like to be a Star. All siblings and family members, twelve years and older, are welcome to spend the day on campus.
“Last year, thirty individuals participated in Sibs Day,” said Levi Harrel, Assistant Director of Student Development. “We received positive feedback from all of last year’s participants and are hoping the event grows in participants this year.”
Sibs day events this year include campus tours lead by Gold Stars ambassadors, an Inflatables & Snocone Extravaganza hosted by Housing & Residence Life, support for our Baseball team as they play Texas Wesleyan at home, and a movie in the Student Lounge sponsored by the Involved Center.
“I think Sibs Day is great,” said Zack Travers, business senior. “It gives us a chance to share OCU with those we care about.”
Students who would like to participate in the event should register at http://www.okcu.edu/campus/resources/parents/sibs-day. Participants receive a t-shirt for themselves and their siblings, as well as two on-campus meal vouchers.
