A student woke up to a stranger in her dorm at 3 a.m.
The suspect got scared and left before doing anything. The student called campus police and made a report.
Bradd Brown, chief of police, says the suspect was a black male dressed in all black clothing.
The suspect somehow unlocked the door to the student’s dorm, according to a social media post from one of the residents.
“Luckily my roommate woke up when she heard our noisy door open, and scared him away before anything could happen,” the post reads.
Brown urges people to make sure their doors are always locked, especially at night.
No more information is currently available, but campus police will be investigating the situation. Brown said they will be reviewing security footage for more details. Campus police will send out an email to students soon.
Students are encouraged to contact campus police with any information at 405-208-5008.
