This marks OCU’s third year in a row facing Lewis-Clark State in the national tournament. They eliminated OCU from the tournament last season, according to OCUsports.com.
Senior Forward Daniela Wallen scored 25 points in the game, the most of any player.
“She has special instincts. Whether getting a loose ball or coming up with a rebound, she just knows how to put the ball in the basket,” Coach Bo Overton told OCUsports. “When we need a score, she does it”
Oklahoma City owns national championships from 1988, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2012, 2014 and 2015, according to OCUsports.
