Construction for the locker room building began in early March and the completion date is set for early June.
Funding for the new building was provided by alumni and corporate sponsors. The two-story building will house 48 locker rooms, offices for coaches and a common area for players to lounge and study in.
This will be the first time that the soccer teams will have their own locker rooms. The soccer teams shared locker rooms with other athletes in the Henry J. Freede Wellness and Activity Center, which meant they had to go between the gym and the field.
