This year OCU is celebrating Love Not Hate Day within the first ever Better Together Week.
Each year, Love Not Hate Day is sponsored to recognize the OCU community’s commitment to show love and not hate. It is one of the Wesley Center’s biggest events where all students are invited to tie-dye free Better Together shirts. Sodexo helped provide free food in the University Center while OCUpella performed for students.
This year Wesley Center and OCU’s Better Together group partnered to make a whole week of events. The Better Together group is a part of a national movement sponsored by Interfaith Youth Core out of Chicago.
Better Together Week will end April 7 with an Islam and Interfaith Discussion.
