Willie Butler, weekend grill man, hosted a special brunch for Valentine’s Day.
Butler did this to show his gratitude to the OCU community, but also to show the men of OCU how to properly treat women. He decorated a room in the cafeteria with balloons, stuffed animals, flower petals, candy and strawberries to make the event even sweeter.
The men of Phi Gamma Delta helped during brunch. They took shifts handing out cake and clearing tables as students finished eating.
“It was just us helping out,” said Billy Speed, music theater sophomore and FIJI member. “Willie was the mastermind behind pretty much all of it.”
Butler will turn 52 on Feb. 25. He will cook brunch and bring sheet cakes for everyone, including students without meal plans, he said.
