A report of a peeping Tom in Walker Hall was made to OCU police department.
A female student, who just stepped out of the shower and was not wearing any clothes, heard the door to her room open around 8:20 a.m. Jan. 28. She then noticed the camera part of a cellphone was inserted through a slight crack in the door and pointing towards her.
“By the time she was able to put some clothes on and go back out to see who it was, the person was gone,” Bradd Brown, chief of OCU police, said.
The student was unable to see any identifying part of the person.
Brown said police officers have been around the building asking residents if they had seen anything or anyone. A warning was sent via email to the campus community at 2:22 p.m. to warn on the incident and to ask for anyone with information to contact the police department.
There are no security cameras in the building except for one in the lobby on the bottom floor, Brown said.
There are no suspects as of 3:45 p.m. Jan. 28.
Brown said they do not believe this incident has any connection to two suscipous persons reported on campus last semester.
If anyone has information about this incident, call OCUPD at 405-208-5001.
