Decorative letters belonging to the Panhellenic sororities were stolen from the Nellie R. Melton Panhellenic Quadrangle.
Members estimate that the letters were stolen around 8 p.m Sept. 3. They have since been returned.
“Men and women should uphold ourselves to higher ideals than to steal,” said Shannon Beshears, dance junior and Phi Mu president. “It creates more inconvenience than someone not affiliated with a house would think.”
This incident was not reported to OCUPD.
