The 2015 Festival of the Arts will run this weekend in the OKC Myriad Gardens.
Since 1967, the Festival has been OKC’s invitation for the city to celebrate spring. The festival features work from over 500 visual artists, who will display their art in the gardens. A culinary arts festival also accompanies the event: 31 food vendors will attend the event. Many of the food vendors will dedicate some of their proceeds to non-profit arts organizations in the city. In addition to art and food, performers will also take to the stage at the festival. Four stages will be occupied by over 300 performers throughout the event.
The event is free to the public, who are invited to wander through the gardens at their leisure. The festival is open this Saturday, April 25, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, April 26 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
