- Kingsman: The Secret Service actress Sofia Boutella has nabbed a lead role in Star Trek 3. Particulars of her character have not yet been released. Directed by Justin Lin from a script by Simon Pegg and Doug Jung, the film will premiere on July 8, 2016. For more on the project, click here.
- Eddie Redmayne is reportedly the favorite to star in upcoming Harry Potter spinoff Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, set roughly 70 years before the events of the original series. - Veep creator Armando Iannucci is leaving the show after four seasons.
