Three OCU students will compete in the quarterfinal match of “Mind Games” at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14.
Theresa Hottel, Dustin Austin, and Chance Johnson will face teams from across the state in the match.
The TV show, which airs on KSBI channel 52, is a toss-up style game show featuring students from colleges across Oklahoma. A wide variety of topics are covered in the questions, which cover the fields of science, history, literature, fine arts and humanities, geography, current events, and pop culture.
Teams race against each other to answer challenging academic questions in quick succession. The students compete for scholarship money, and also compete in flash rounds for “fast cash.”
The winning team of the fall competition will compete against the winning spring team in a final match for the title of Grand Champion, and the honor of being the best Mind Games school of the year.
Mind Games airs Saturday nights at 5:30 p.m. throughout December
