- Netflix is extending its original programming, thanks to a new movie deal with Adam Sandler. Sandler’s Happy Madison Prods. will work with the video service on four films, in which Sandler will star. - The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise is moving down under for its fifth installment. The Disney film will be shot in Queensland, Australia, marking the continent’s largest contribution to a major motion picture’s budget, according to Queensland Minister for the Arts Ian Walker. “I am particularly delighted to have been able to approve this proposal,” said Walker. - Comcast security chief Joe Clancy is stepping in as the interim acting director of the Secret Service, replacing Julia Pierson. Prior to working for the cable corporation, Clancy was special agent in charge of the presidential protective division of the Secret Service. “I knew Joe Clancy when he led the presidential detail.
