President Robert Henry is not leaving OCU, a university official said Oct. 28.
Henry renewed his contract during the summer, said Susan Barber, provost and vice president for academic affairs. She said rumors that the president is leaving the university are false.
“This is a very damaging rumor,” Barber said. “I don’t know how this started.”
Henry was unavailable for comment as of 11 a.m.
Henry, a former chief judge of the United States Court of Appeals 10th Circuit, became OCU’s 17th president in July 2010.
