- Lost creator Damon Lindelof has decided to deactivate his Twitter account. Lindelof was an previously highly active on the social media site and was one of the first film and television producers to use it as a way of communicating with fans. However, many viewers used the site as a way of criticizing his work. His final tweet trails off mid-sentence, reading, “After much thought and deliberation, I’ve decided t”. - Netflix has obtained exclusive subscription rights to additional Disney titles for its just-launched streaming service in the Netherlands, starting next year. Netflix will now have the exclusive right to stream both live-action and animated titles in the Dutch market, including features from Pixar and Marvel and certain ABC programming. - Warner Bros.’ Gravity has secured a November 20 release date in China. There were doubts about the film’s Chinese release, due to the fact that the country’s quota of 34 imported movies per year is nearly full. The film has already earned approximately $78 million from 38 other international markets, including Russia, Germany, Australia, Spain and Italy. - Toni Collette and Michael C. Hall have joined the cast of Will Eno’s play The Realistic Joneses, which is slated for a March 2014 opening on Broadway. They join Marisa Tomei and Tracy Letts in the play, an existential comedy about two couples with the same last name who live next to each other in identical homes.
