Returning students may have noticed changes in the cafeteria and in Alvin’s Café.
OCU Dining services recently added more options to the menu in Alvin’s Café and upgraded some items in the cafeteria.
The cafeteria has new coffee machines, as well as a hot chocolate machine.
Other additions to the cafeteria include different types of flavored water, such as watermelon and strawberry-kiwi.
Alvin’s Café has a variety of new food and drink options for students.
A number of new drinks have been added to the coolers such as Snapple, Peace Tea, energy drinks, and more soda options.
There also is a menu for smoothies with added energy or protein
boosts.
These smoothies seem to be healthier options for students who may usually reach for an energy drink or soda.
Students can purchase hot dogs and taquitos from Alvin’s Café as well.
OCU Dining is commended for adding more options for students.
There seems to be a good balance of healthy snacks or drink items, as well as things students might enjoy indulging in occasionally.
As college students, we want more options and are excited to try new things.
Students are encouraged to support these options and try out the new items as the academic year progresses.
