To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the “I Have a Dream” speech, an analysis and discussion about the speech will be held Wednesday, Aug. 28, from noon to 1 p.m. in Walker Center room 151.
The speech was give by Martin Luther King, Jr. on Aug. 28th, 1963 in Washington D.C.
The Philosophy and Rhetoric Department and Philosophy Club are sponsoring the event, called “Witnessing the Dream”. Robin Meyers, professor of rhetoric, will lead the discussion.
Pizza will be offered to all participants.
