News on the Twos, the university’s student newscast, will host a televised Student Government Association presidential debate. The debate is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. on March 14 in the TV Studio in the Mass Communications department in Walker Center for Arts and Sciences.
Questions will be drawn from platforms, News on the Twos reporters and the student body.
Students can tweet questions at @MediaOCU using #SGAdebate and will be welcomed into the studio to ask questions during the live debate.
Candidates for student body president are:
– Kate Adams, business marketing/mass communications junior,
– Sharrone Berry-Davis, justice studies/computer science junior,
– Terrance Craft, political science/mass communications sophomore,
– Beatrize Martinez, justice studies junior,
– Jacilyn Kennedy, entertainment business junior,
– and Mitch Thrower, finance/economics junior.
All presidential candidates have confirmed attendance.
Rachel Morse, mass communications senior and Student Publications multimedia editor, will moderate the debate.
