Petit Larceny, DUS and 3 OKC Arrest Warrants Tuesday, 1-22-13 9:45am; Cokesbury Court Apartments; Incident # 13-01-022; arrested: Cameron Shane Conyer (boyfriend of OCU student); involved vehicle: red 2008 Ford Ranger pickup; item stolen: one “boot” vehicle immobilizer (OCUPD owned); OCUPD officers have been placing tickets on a red Ford Ranger pickup in the past several days for no parking permit at the Cokesbury Court Apartments. An officer placed a vehicle immobilizer on the vehicle in order to identify the owner. Later the owner, Cameron Shane Conyer, removed the immobilizer and discarded it off campus. Captain Jeff Stonebreaker was informed by Mr. Conyer that he removed the immobilizer however, OCUPD could not locate it. Officer Josh Pankowsky later observed Mr. Conyer driving his vehicle off campus and performed a traffic stop. He was issued a citation for DUS and was arrested on three outstanding municipal arrest warrants. He was transported to the Oklahoma County Detention Center and was required to sign an OCU Notice to Vacate form. Formal charges will be submitted to the DA’s office for Petit Larceny. His Ford Ranger was impounded.
Larceny from Residence (felony) Wednesday, 1-23-13 1:00pm; Cokesbury Court Apartments; Incident # 13-01-024; suspect: unknown; victim: student; item stolen: one Apple Mini I pad, black (serial number was provided); Officer Josh Pankowsky was dispatched to a specific apartment at Cokesbury Court Apartments in reference to the theft of an I pad. Upon arrival he met with the student/victim who said the I Pad has been missing since Tuesday, 1-15-13. The officer has a possible lead and will be investigating. The stolen item has been entered into NCIC.
