Storm Chaser Greg Johnson will be signing copies of his new photography book, “Blown Away: A Year through the lens of The Tornado Hunter” at 6:30 p.m. today, November 27, 2012 at Full Circle Bookstore, located at 1900 Northwest Expressway.
Johnson, 42, is a fairly new when it comes to storm chasing, but he is an expert photographer. Most storm chasers try to videotape twisters or measure them closely and scientifically. But Johnson finds a safe distance away from the tornadoes in order to photograph them. Johnson’s writing and pictures take readers inside the storm beautifully.
