Fugitive From Justice (x4) Violation of Suspended Sentence, Driving Under Suspension (2ndOffense), Fail to Comply w/compulsory Ins. Law and Operate M/V on Which Taxes & Fees are Due Monday, 10-22-12 1:30am; NW 23rd and Pennsylvania Avenue; Incident # 12-10-033; arrested: Freddie Earl Moss (no OCU affiliation); passenger: Tammy Sue Stewart (no OCU affiliation); impounded vehicle: gold 2002 Mercury Sable 4dr; Officer Michael Haynes documented by radar a gold Mercury travelling 41/30 and stopped the vehicle. He ran an NCIC check from his unit and discovered that the driver, Freddie Earl Moss, had the above outstanding warrants for his arrest. The passenger was clear of warrants and was released at the scene. The vehicle was impounded and Mr. Moss was transported to the Oklahoma County Detention Center.
Petit Larceny Tuesday, 10-23-12 8:20am; Edith Kinney Gaylord Dance Center; Incident # 12-10-036; victim: student; items stolen: one ring and a set of ear rings (total value $200.00); The student/victim met with Officer Josh Pankowsky at OCUPD regarding the theft of her ring and set of ear rings. She said that on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 3:45pm, she placed the items in her locker and later returned to discover the items missing. She said there were no indications of forced entry and that she had secured her locker prior to leaving. The victim made a written statement.
Present False Identification Card Tuesday, 10-23-12 2:00pm; Friendly Foods 2800 block N. Classen Boulevard; arrested: Pedro Perez (no OCU affiliation); business clerk: Bose Patmon Jr. (no OCU affiliation); involved person: new OCUPD Officer Kyle Jeney; Officer Josh Pankowsky was dispatched to Friendly Foods in reference to an adult male standing in the service lane pandering customers for money. Upon arrival he met with Pedro Perez who could not speak English. Officer Jeney served as a translator and asked Mr. Perez for identification at which time he provided a green card and social security card. Both cards appeared to be bogus. The officers communicated with the INSA and was informed the green card checked to a male from Iraq. Mr. Perez was arrested for Present False Identification Card and transported him to the Oklahoma County Detention Center. Upon arrival the Detention Officer said he will inform an ICE agent.
Petit Larceny and Taking/ Receiving Credit Card or Debit Card Tuesday, 10-23-12 6:20pm; C.R. Sutton Baseball Complex; Incident # 12-10-038; victim: student; items stolen: one black wallet, one debit card, $38.00 cash, spare key to residence, California DL and Social Security Card; Officer Michael Haynes was approached by a student who said that someone had taken his wallet from his locker at 6:20pm. The officer went to the Baseball Complex and searched the building with negative results. He entered the stolen debit card into NCIC as stolen. At 8:49pm Officer Haynes was informed by the OCUPD dispatcher that the debit card was used at the 7-11 convenience store at NW 23rd and Pennsylvania Avenue. The officer went to that location and learned that the suspect purchased $83.84 in fuel. He searched the area and was able to locate the stolen debit card in a windshield washer fluid container and will attempt to lift latent prints. Officer Haynes will communicate with the 7-11 corporate office and obtain a video recording from the store’s surveillance cameras. He will then have students and staff at the baseball complex view the recordings in an attempt to identify the suspect(s). The student/victim had his debit card account terminated.
