Cameron Ream and Eric Waggoner pulled upsets in Oklahoma City University’s Black-Blue Ranking Matches to key the black team’s 23-12 win Tuesday at Abe Lemons Arena.
Ream, a junior from Wentzville, Mo., notched the only fall of the night over Will Shelton-Delk in 4:18 of the 149-pound match. Waggoner, a freshman from Moore, Okla., won 8-3 over Hunter Muskrat during the 133-pound bout.
OCU, ranked eighth in NAIA men’s wrestling, opens the regular season with a 7 p.m. dual against Oklahoma at McCasland Field House in Norman, Okla.
