Men’s soccer wrapped up Sooner Athletic Conference play with a 2-1 victory over Southern Nazarene Tuesday on the road at Wes Harmon Field. The women’s team finished their season as well with a 3-1 win against the SNU Crimson Storm.
The men move to 7-5-4 on the season and 5-3-2 in SAC play. They will likely enter the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament with the No. 3 or No. 4 seed and will host a first-round match.
The women’s team, ranked 15th in the NAIA, sewed up its 11th Sooner Athletic Conference championship with their victory yesterday. They move to 15-1-1 on the season and 10-0-1 in SAC play. OCU won the SAC regular season and tournament titles a season ago. With the win the Stars will enter the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament as the No. 1 seed and will host a first-round match. OCU also clinched an automatic bid in the NAIA National Championship Opening Round.
